8th Grade Readistep Assessment

8th Grade Readistep Assessment

January 07, 2015 at 10:17 AM

Today your child was sent home with the results from the Readistep Test that was taken in October.  Please ask your child for this important information.  The Readistep is an assessment system used to help educators identify and close achievement gaps from middle school through high school to help all students graduate ready for the rigors of college.  If your child did not receive their scores, it is because they were not administered the test due to absence.  If you believe your child took the test, but did not receive scores, please call the 8th Grade Office.

Parents that would like to learn how to navigate through your child’s scores sheet or how these scores can be used to assist your child, please join us for a Readistep Parent Meeting on Tuesday, January 13th 2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the Alta Sierra Multipurpose Room (Click here for information about the Parent Meeting).  There will be a CUSD Counselor and College Board Representative present to help answer questions.

Hope to see you there.
