"Purple Up" to Support Military Children on Wednesday, April 15th!

April 10, 2015 at 7:30 AM

April is the month of the Military Child, a time to recognize the sacrifice that the children and youth of our military personnel make.  We are encouraging everyone at Clark to wear purple on Wednesday, April 15th, as a visible way to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices.

Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military, as it is the combination of Army Green, Marine Red, and Air Force/Navy/Coast Guard Blue. We hope that everyone will take this opportunity to appreciate and celebrate these young heroes. Be creative...the goal is for military youth to see the support of their community.

Purple Up!  Nationally sponsored by the US Army Family and Moral, Recreation Program, and locally by the Fresno National Guard’s Child & Youth Program
