Part of the Clovis Unified School District

About Us

Students walk through a school courtyard with a water tower in the background.

Clark Intermediate School is located in the heart of Old Town Clovis and is the oldest intermediate school in the Clovis Unified School District. Clark is named in honor of Clarence Todd Clark, who was a Clovis Union High School District trustee from 1922 to 1928.

Clark Intermediate School opened in 1969 and was the original location of Clovis High School.  It was the first C.U.S.D. school created to specifically instruct 7th and 8th graders and has a pivotal role in the transition from elementary to high school. The traditions and history of Clovis are embodied in the Clark Intermediate School and we are proud of our rich heritage.
